Meet the Farm Managers

Welcome to the Moore to Love Urban Farm!

The Moore to Love Urban Farm is a family run organization and community cooperative. Our garden is in memory of Dee Arthur and Phyllis Moore, the life they lived and the legacy they have left. Over 50 years ago, Dee Arthur Moore cultivated a larger area behind our current location for agricultural purposes. Phyllis Ross Fields Moore was community oriented and believed in uplifting her community through service. Now, the torch of serving the community has passed to the children and grandchildren. We are excited to take this time to introduce the committee members.

Farmer J is the Vice- President of the Moore to Love Urban Farm. As a community helper, he is passionate about civic engagement and commitment to public service, which are key elements to cultivate a thriving community garden that serves a source of providing fresh produce and a gathering place for our community.

Farmer Ron is the Co-Founder and Treasurer of the Moore to Love Urban Farm. She is no stranger to community service as she organized various community events. She also served as an acting committee person for10 years. Being able to produce food and see what your hands can grow is a wonderful feeling. Farmer Ron also enjoys having the garden space available for people to relax and free their minds through connecting with Mother Earth.

Farmer Tay, is the Founder and President of the Moore to Love Urban Farm. She is thrilled about creating a sustainable and self-sufficient way of life for herself and the community. She is following the path paved by her grandparents through providing help wherever there is a need and improving the community.
